Matīss Groskaufmanis is an architect and researcher based in Rotterdam. His work focuses on architecture’s relationship to political and economic ideologies. In 2018, he curated the Latvian Pavilion at the Venice Architecture Biennale. Since 2012, Matīss has worked on research, publishing, and architecture projects as part of OMA/AMO and MVRDV. He holds a Master’s degree in Architecture (with distinction) from Delft Technical University, and has been a research fellow at Strelka Institute in Moscow.
